So I was looking on progressive (which seems to consistently have the best motorcycle insurance rates) and here's what I found

for the harley using the minimum BI/PD(20k$/person,40k$/accident,15k$ Property) is 76$/year.

for comprehensive (something runs into me) it's 104$ and for collison (I run into something) it's only 236$ (500$ deductable)

the honda aero runs 76/76/231

the suzuki c50 is 76/95/301

I bought the 07 Sportser 883C, white gold pearl.

I feel really wierded out though because I had a boat load of bad omens doing it. I ran over a squirrel after I came out of the parking garage on the way there, then I saw a dead body accross the street from a dealership, the fax machine the paperwork was coming through jammed, and then as I was riding it home it started to rain.

But it feels so nice and it's so pretty.

I paid ~MSRP for the bike:
$8545

But I paid $599 freight, and $499 setup/prep. $602.69 tax, $22.03 Tx special vehicle inventory fee (what the hell is that?), $12.50 inspection fee, $50 dealer fee for doing registration (& title), 76$ for the registration itself.

All coming out to $10,407.02

I got raped a bit on all the fees but I paid MSRP for the bike and drove it out of the dealership the day I bought it.

I stopped at truffles to show her the bike and hide out from the rain and after it stopped let them convince me that driving it home in the dark on rainslicked roads wasa bad idea so I left it at her house and got my truck from the dealership.
