Jun. 11th, 2005 01:36 pmI finally got google unhijacked after weeks of trying by using a program called lspfix from http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm and used it to get rid of fltmgr.dll from the winsock.
Gods it was annoying. It effected several search engines not just google, the only search engine I could find that would return good results was A9. I did find out that if I entered the IP address rather than the name I would get good results, but it crippled the page and I couldn't do image searches or language tools. The most irritating was that one of my favorite functions on firefox, the "search web for.." when you right click on highlighted text was broken because of it.
