I found a link to this story on eschaton about light rail in denver and I'm jealous.
One thing I didn't see mentioned about it that might speed the adoption of a transit oriented lifestyle is that this is Denver. One of the minor miseries of owning a car in Colorado that really starts to suck after a while is having to dig out your car and scrape the snow off it in the obnoxious early morning hours. Walking to a station and catch an already warm train sounds a lot more pleasent.
