The mayor of roundrock is giving a downtown coffee house a hard time for having a drag show there. When he didn;t feel he was intimidating enough he sic'd the firemarshall on them.

Am I the only person (no) who see's a mayor saying something like "Maxwell said Roberts should pay attention to public perceptions if she's going to stay successful as a business owner." the same way I would a known mafioso say "nice place you got here, shame if something happened to it".

No, but I saw it on the news late last night, on FOX. A story that seemed very sympathetic to the business owners, I might add.

Don't fret about taxes. Instead, find a good tax attorney. Shoot, go to the UT Law School even and see what you can find in the way of ultra cheap, but good law school student "help." If the UH Student Legal Services [(713) 743-5450 if you want to call them and see if they know of who to call that can help you in the Austin area. UH does, indeed, have one of the best law schools in the country so, certainly, they must know SOMETHING or SOMEONE who can help you on that property tax thing. ..] can bail out folks in the worst of binds, surely UT's law school should be able to do the same --- or recommend something.
