some of the things that stood out for me


darth vader's first breath through the mask (worth going to see it on a big screen just for that)

darth vader's lame expression of grief and loss

vaders yellow/red eyes

oh, the sith are lichs

that first edge of space battle, oh my god yeah, more of that

I wish they woulda showed him killing the kids

where did that anger at padme come from? I assume there had to be some element of the siddiouses twisting influence, but it just didn't express well for something so crucial, would have worked better if there had been more jealousey scenes forshadowing it, hell with her obviously hot for obi-wan and conflicted

we need better villian role models

the sith are all about personal attachment, the jedi are all instituional

killing the kids just rang flat, I could see myself making the same choices as Anakin up until then, the only way I could see it is if it got out of hand, the kids out of loyalty to the order attaking him and him having to defend himself, with him just standing there a jedi grinder they threw themself against until they all killed themself for the cause

what the hell was grevious?

how come the female jedi's never got a shot off?

grevious is a major character in the star wars animated series on cartoon network. strange show but worth checking out if you haven't seen it.

Yeah, I couldn't buy the justification for his killing the kids. He could have just turned them to the dark side as well. OTH once it was done, he really couldn't go back.

I also had trouble with Obi Wan walking off and leaving Anikin to burn to death - I thought Jedi were honorable and compassionate? A true freind and master would have killed him out of mercy.

the jedi council was corrupt

given their behavior; mace windu deciding to usurp justice, his refusal of a plea for mercy, how anakin was clearly deserving the title of master but they refused it for political reasons, their assent to the power of the chancellor and then secretly plotting against him, the request from the council that couldn't be asked by the council in it's own chamber, hell even the fact that they could be destroyed so easily all clearly show that the jedi council needed to be obliterated
