so I've been thinking of getting a motor cycle once I get my finances into something more managable
I've always wanted one. I'm thinking of using primarily for commuting to and from work and the occasional ride on the weekend. I figure for my big ass I am going to need at least a 500cc bike. I'd like a harley but I don't want to drop 7k where at least a third of that is for the nameplate. I was thinking of one of the smaller japanese regular to slightly cruiserish bikes.

So I've been looking around at what the various manufacturers have to offer and I came across this picture on the honda page and it made my dick hard.

That is a gorgeous bike. It looks as if you would be hunching forward though, or am I just not envisioning it correctly. Damn Litch, you would look great on a bike. Good luck with that!

Valkyries tend to be in the Harley price range. NICE bikes though. If I wanted a cruiser, I'd get a Valkyrie. (Not the Rune, though--I think it's just butt ugly, myself.)

Also, in a cruiser, you want at least a 750. Besides, the bikes around 500cc tend to be ergonomically small. The 250s are like scale models of actual bikes.

If you want style, how 'bout a Super Magna? The '87 and '88 Honda Magna's were awesome looking bikes, IMO.

And another thing

If you're talking the 883 Sportster, they're basically worth the money. A new Shadow or a Vulcan will cost you just as much. However HD quality is still sub-Japanese, and insurance can be expensive.

I like this bike.
it oozes power... I'm not sure that it would be a good thing for Minnesota, as it would be caged for half the year.
