may have been a touch over enthusiastic yesterday, my lower back is definately sore, not horrible, but not working or playing well with me.

It's damnably hard to do anything when your low back hurts. Just did a load of laundry and got it riled up. I'm out of advil and asprin and need to go grocery shopping but my back isn't up to it right now. I wanted to do lawn work, ditto, and it even is sore sitting here in front of the computer and there were some entries I've been gnawing on.

I'd heard the're blackwater boys patroling new orleans, but I hadn't really put together that the federal government has hired mercenaries with the permission to use deadly force patrolling the streets of america.

Now that friends and readers, is a thought to put quivers in your colon.

Dear Mr. Brin,

Thank you for the many hours of pleasure and stimulation you have given me through your books. You are on of my favorite living authors and I would love to read more of your non-fiction. I particularly enjoyed The Transparent Society, and was delighted to have some fundamental assumptions I had been working under knocked out from my perceptions and felt decidely enlightened. I hope you will write a follow-up on it that looks at the changes in the world and particularly cites some examples of instances where transparency has significantly made an impact.
