Feb. 4th, 2003 08:40 pmmy dad is understimulated;
he's blind in one eye, can't see much at all out of the other, hard of hearing, can't walk more than a few steps without support.
so I'm at a loss for things he could do, right now he spends most of his time watching TV but that's limited by his sensory impairment, he can't tell what's happenning on screen a lot of the time or understand the dialog.
he can't read, even large print or using a magnifying glass.
he talks to his girlfriend on the phone a couple times a day, and he plays with his dog (who is almost as disabled as he is): though much of that 'play' is him overfeeding her
the only thing I can think that he could do is some sort of sculpture but he's never been much of an arty type
anyone got any ideas
