Jan. 2nd, 2003 02:22 pmI am incensed at the WV doctor's walk out. Doctor's refuse to take the necessary steps to clean up their own profession. They don't want data on their mistakes publically available, they refuse to take the reccomended steps to reduce medical mistakes, and they don't do enough to remove the bumblers and inept from the ranks of their profession.
5% of doctors cause 50% of the malpractice suits

they want tort reform reducing their liability? Ok, but that means they have to open up, publically note mistakes, support a database of physician caused problems, actively buy into medical practice reform, and actively remove the medical license from the people who can't cut the mustard.
