A Scanner Darkly

I saw scanner thursday with my friend eric. I was disappointed it wasn't better and from reading the reviews on rotten tomato so were a lot of other people. It was filmed here so it was really cool to see bits and pieces of the town I know (like the little Mi Tierra corner store at 183 and ohlen) rotoscoped. But the story was disjointed and confused (well DUH!) we couldn't figure out why some scenes (like the part with the car) were there (or at least done the way they were). I liked the movie, I wanted to like it so much more.

However like most other people I loved watching Downey as Barris, he reminded me of luxcanon
