On my way home for lunch at around 11:45 on the northbound research access just past great hills I looked to my right and saw a giant blue monkey wearing a red fez.
It was a statue on what I presume was an art car, a small blue hatchback with a nice fantasy arabesque scene. I trying to get my phone out and take a picture but he turned off before I could.
Fortunantly I found a web page for it:

so cute and this makes me smile! Thanks!
Haven't much of a reason to do THAT lately, but I've had two reasons to smile and laugh in like less than an hour.
I tried to text msg you this, but it was too long:
I received a hilarious "msg" from a student today:
I'm in the middle of my lecture when I notice a student in the front row has a message 4me with one letter written on the front of each finger. I couldn't quite put it all together until his the front of both hands just happened to be facing me.
The message?
F-U-C-K Y-O-U-!
I stopped lecture and applauded student 4 giving me the most CREATIVE msg ever during a lecture. Student was embarrassed that I read/saw it and we all (meaning entire class, etc.) had a mighty fine laugh about it. . .
I'll take a reason to smile wherever/whenever i can get it! Thanks for the photo. I'll refer to it whenever I'm down.
