I heard this story on NPR the other day about one of the artists at the exploratorium, that's got to be one of the glory jobs for people like you and me, combination of mechanical construction, artistic expression, education, and science.

Bloody small world! I know Ned and his wife. His house (estate, really) is filled with all sorts of mind bending art and just gorgeous things that have physics worked in.
